Trailside Medical Clinic- Tuesday April 16th 6-7pm Here at the shop.  Kirk Harris, Director of Continuing Healthcare and Safety Education at Roane State, will deliver the clinic on basic trailside injuries treatment. Kirk is also a Wilderness First Responder Trainer and is scheduling upcoming classes. No Charge to attend.

Day Hike on Chestnut Top Trail- Tuesday April 23rd caravan from the shop at 8:30.  Wildflowers should be out in bloom in the Smokies.  Chestnut Top is said to be one of the best wildflower hikes in the park.

Customer Swap Day- Saturday May 4th 9am-2pm here at the shop. Go through your gear room, toss those tubs, clean out those closets, and set up here in the parking lot to sell it off.  Set up is 8:45. There are no fees to set up.

Map and Compass Clinic- Monday May 6th 6-7pm here at the shop.  John DiDiego Education Director at the Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont will deliver a clinic on basic map and compass skills. Bearing, orientation, degrees of inclination, compass rose, all sound Greek to you? Not after you sit in on this clinic. No Charge to attend.

Weekly Beginner Rides- Our Sister Store, CYCOLOGY BICYCLES, has some beginner bike rides scheduled each week to help you get back on your bike.  We ride form the Old Courthouse Monday at noon and Thursday at 5:00pm for about an hour.  Then to help foks transition to the road we ride from Coulter’s Bridge, behind Heritage high School, Wednesday at 5:00pm for a beginner road ride to Kinzel Bridge and back.
